The Estonian Tax and Customs Board collected 478.7 million euros of taxes in November 2014, which is an increase of 10.3% as compared to the same time last year, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

In the first 11 months, 91.8% of the tax revenue plan of the whole year was fulfilled as 5.02 billion euros has been collected, finance ministry said.

The November growth was caused mostly by VAT, of which 156.2 mln euros was collected. The monthly collection was by around 10 mln euros more than the average of earlier months.

The collection grew by 20.6% from November last year while the annual average monthly increase so far has been 9.3%. One component of the big growth was lower tax returns level than in November last year.
