Krediidipank's profit falls in 9 months

BC, Tallinn, 31.10.2014.Print version
The Estonian Krediidipank banking concern announced that it earned 477,000 euros of profit in the first nine months of the year 2014, by 100,000 euros less than at the same time last year, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The bank said that the profit fell because of investments in new products but also due to circumstances not connected to the banking group.

Krediidipank group's loan portfolio increased by 17% in a year, to nearly 161 mln euros.

Total deposits volume fell by nearly 10 mln euros, mainly due to demand deposits of corporate clients. Term deposits of private clients grew by 24% to over 123 mln euros, on the other hand.

The asset volume of the group at the end of September was over 248 million euros, a fall by nearly 11 mln euros.
