Nordea Eesti satisfied with 2014 results

Nordea Eesti announced on Wednesday that in the first nine months of the year 2014, it earned a net profit of 30.3 million euros, Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

The bank increased the volume of investment products by 85% and that of customer deposits by 12% as compared to the same period of the previous year.

 

Customer deposits grew in the third quarter by 12% year-on-year, whereas the volume of deposits of private individuals grew by 24%. Nordea's deposit to loan ratio has risen to 44%.

 

The loan portfolio was at a stable level at the end of September; both private individuals and corporate loan and leasing portfolio grew by 5% as compared to the previous year.

 

Nordea bank chief Petri Nikkilä commented that Nordea aims at making the everyday customer settlements and investment possibilities simpler and more evolved. "The good results suggest that these activities have created value for our customers," added Nikkilä.
