The Ministry of Finance has prepared and is forwarding to the Government a draft of a law of the Republic of Lithuania pertaining to the approval of the financial indicators of the state budget and municipal budgets for 2015, informs LETA/ELTA.

It is provided that total consolidate income of the state and municipal budgets (including funds from the European Union (EU) and other international aid, which amount to nearly EUR 2.321 billion) in 2015 will account for around EUR 9.215 billion, or 5.9% more than it is planned to receive this year.

The predicted state budget income together with the EU and other international support will reach EUR 7.956 billion or by 5% more, compared to the approved plan for 2014.

It is expected to receive more income due to economic growth, improvement in tax collection and wage increases.

In 2015, the state budget deficit will stand at around EUR 342.4 million (on cash basis), while the planned public sector deficit is 1.2% of GDP.
