Lithuanian SoDra's deficit reaches EUR 0.21 bln in January-May

Print versionThe State Social Insurance Fund Board in Lithuania (SoDra) began providing key statistical data in euros. During January-May 2014, SoDra's revenue totalled EUR 1.136 billion and its expenditure amounted to EUR 1.346 billion, reports LETA/ELTA.

SoDra's deficit in the five-month period amounted to EUR 0.21 billion.
In 2013, SoDra received EUR 2.85 billion in revenue, while its budgetary expenditure totalled EUR 3.22 billion, and deficit amounted to EUR 0.37 billion.
The updating of the statistics portal was one among the first tasks SoDra had implemented to prepare for the introduction of the euro.
