Budget revenue administered by Latvian Revenue Service at 99.3% of target amount in Q1

Print versionThe total amount of budget revenue administered by the State Revenue Service in Latvia was at 99.3% of the projected figure in the first quarter of the year 2014, as the Revenue Service's Director General Inara Petersone told a press conference today, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Compared to the first quarter of 2013, the amount of budget revenue administered by the Revenue Service has increased 3.6%.
According to the original plan, the Revenue Service was to collect EUR 1.613 billion in the first quarter of the year, but the Revenue Service has actually collected EUR 1.601 billion – EUR 11.33 million or 0.7% less than anticipated.
Tax revenue amounted to EUR 1.558 billion (99.7% of the target amount) in the first quarter, whereas non-tax revenue – EUR 42.99 million (86.2% of the target amount).
