Government consolidated budget surplus in Latvia at EUR 27 mln after Q1

In the first three months of this year, the government consolidated budget revenue was EUR 2.006 billion, while expenditure at EUR 1.9 billion, leading to a financial surplus of EUR 27 million, according to the State Treasury, cites LETA.

In March, general government consolidated budget revenue was EUR 634.5 million, expenditure at EUR 677.3 million, leading to a financial deficit of EUR 42.9 million.

 

In the first quarter of this year, central government basic budget revenue was EUR 1.152 billion, expenditure EUR 1.232 million, making the financial deficit of EUR 80.3 million.

 

In March, central government basic budget revenue was EUR 328 million, while expenditure EUR 407.9 million, as the result the financial deficit was EUR 80 million.

 

In the three months of this year, central government special budget revenue was EUR 514.4 million, expenditure EUR 490.6 million, leading to a financial surplus of EUR 23,8 million.

 

In March, central government special budget revenue (excluding grants and donations, and public derived persons) was EUR 173 million, expenditure EUR 175 million, leading to a financial deficit of EUR 2.1 million.

 

Meanwhile, the revenue of central government consolidated budget (excluding grants and donations, and public derived persons) in the three months of this year was EUR 1.614 billion, expenditure EUR 1.670 billion, making the financial deficit of EUR 56.5 million.
