Bank of Latvia's net external reserves at EUR 4.41 bln at end-March

The Bank of Latvia's net external reserves stood at EUR 4.41 billion at the end of March, according to information published in the central bank's official web-site, cites LETA.

The bulk of the Bank of Latvia's net external reserves, EUR 4.21 billion, was made up of foreign convertible currencies.

 

The central bank's gold reserves stood at EUR 200.26 million, and reserve position in the International Monetary Fund – at EUR 60,000.

 

Compared to February, Latvia's external reserves have seen an increase, as net external reserves at the end of February was at EUR 4.37 billion.
