It was expected to receive a total of LTL 8.4 billion (EUR 2.4 billion) during the said period.
The state budget received a total of LTL 6.9 billion (EUR 2 billion) from January to May. It was planned to receive LTL 7.1 billion (EUR 2.05 billion), which is by LTL 169.4 million (EUR 49.1 million) or by 2.4% less than the actual revenues.
More than projected revenue was collected from personal income tax and the profit tax. During the first five months of the year, personal income tax generated LTL 1.7 billion (EUR 491 million), while the target was LTL 1.6 billion (EUR 465 million) meaning that the revenues from the tax were by LTL 92.3 million, or by 5.7% higher than projected.
