State and municipal debt at LVL 5.759 bln at end-April

The debt has reduced over the past month, as state and municipal debt at the end of March reached 5.822 billion.
Latvia's internal debt was at LVL 823.766 million at the end of April, external debt – LVL 4.936 billion.
State debt reached LVL 5.722 billion at the end of April, while municipal debt was LVL 566.046 million.
As reported, central government debt amounted to 36 percent of gross domestic product at the end of 2012.
