Bank of Latvia leaves interest rates unchanged in May

Print versionThe Bank of Latvia Council today resolved to leave the interest rates and minimum reserve requirement set by the Bank of Latvia unchanged, the central bank's president Ilmars Rimsevics told a press conference today. The Bank of Latvia refinancing rate remains unchanged at 2.5%, writes LETA/Nozare.lv.

Bank of Latvia marginal lending facility rate to banks that have used the facility no more than five working days within the previous 30 day period is 3%.
Marginal lending facility rate to banks that have used the facility no more than 10 working days within the previous thirty day period is 6%.
Marginal lending facility rate to banks that have used the facility more than ten working days within the previous thirty day period is 9%.
Bank of Latvia overnight deposit facility rate remains 0.05%, whereas seven –day deposit facility rate is 0.075%.
