ERGO earns EUR 228,000 in profit in Baltics in Q1

Print versionAccording to an IFRS-based assessment, ERGO Insurance Group earned EUR 228,000 (LVL 160,200) in profit in the Baltic States in the first quarter of 2013, a 37.5% increase on the corresponding period in 2012, writes LETA.

ERGO Insurance Group posted EUR 39 million (LVL 27.4 million) in premiums in the Baltic States in the first three months of 2013, 4.1% more than in the respective period in 2012.
ERGO customers in the Baltic countries were paid 15.5% more in claims – EUR 22.8 million (LVL 16.02 million), Nozare.lv learned from the company.
In Latvia, ERGO Insurance Group achieved EUR 10.7 million in premiums (LVL 7.52 million) and paid EUR 5.52 million (LVL 3.88 million) in claims.
