Bigbank's loan portfolio grew by 6% in Q2

Print versionThe Estonian Bigbank boosted its loan portfolio by 6% in the second quarter of the year, the volume of loans grew most in the Finnish and Spanish branch offices, Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

Bigbank group's loan portfolio grew by 11.6 million euros or 5.9% in a quarter and reached 206.1 million euros at the end of the month. In the Finnish office loan volumes grew by 14.4% and Spanish 27.5%.
Bigbank's assets grew by 7.8% to 263.6 million euros. Liabilities formed 207.6 million euros, growing 9.2% in a quarter. Term deposits formed the majority of them.
Bigbank earned in the second quarter 1.3 million euros of profit, by 0.3 million euros less than at the same time in 2011.
Bigbank had 30 offices at the end of the quarter, 10 in Estonia, 7 in Latvia, 10 in Lithuania, 1 in Finland and 2 in Spain.
