Lithuanian PM: we can not relax while planning for 2013 budget

Print versionLithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius says that in 2013 the state budget is likely to be planned based on this year's budget and we should not relax.

According to the PM, the budget will incur a number of additional costs due to Lithuanian Presidency of the European Union (EU), writes LETA/ELTA.
"() I would only like to say that the deficit is still not a zero, therefore we cannot think of any relaxation," said Kubilius after the Government meeting, Monday.
"Next year we will have a very important task for Lithuania – the EU presidency, and the substantial funds will be required, "said the PM.
Chancellor of the Prime Minister Deividas Matulionis named the exact cost of Lithuania's presidency of the EU – LTL 214 million (EUR 61.9 million).
