Estonian state budget collects 48.3% planned tax revenue in 6 months

According to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, the tax revenue collected by the state budget amounted to 441.1 million euros in June 2012; in the first six months of the year, the state budget has collected 48.3% of the revenue planned for the year in the 2012 state budget, LETA/Äripäev.ee reports.

The tax collection was by 10.9% higher in June than last year.

 

The social tax revenue amounted to 161.3 million euros in June, by 6.9% more than last year. 49.4% of the planned revenue for the year was collected in six months.

 

Private individuals’ income tax collection was in June 29.6 million euros, in six months 27.1% of the budget plan has been collected. By the end of June 99 million euros of tax returns had been made, the same amount as last year.

 

Legal entities paid income tax of a total of 42.8 million euros in June, by 6.5% more than at the same time last year. 57.2% of the amount planned for the year was collected in six months.

 

134.4 million euros of value added tax was collected in June, 20.5% more than at the same time last year. 49.4% of the budget plan was collected in six months.
