Lithuania's Grigeo shares lose over third of their value

The share of Grigeo, a Lithuanian paper and cardboard producer, lost over a third of their value in the first minutes after the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange resumed trading on Friday referred LETA.

Grigeo shares plunged 37.5% (0.51 euros) and cost 0.85 euros at 10.35 a.m. after shares worth 17,500 euros were sold.


Nasdaq Vilnius resumed trading in Grigeo shares after the owner of Grigeo Klaipeda, a Klaipeda-based cardboard producer that released untreated wastewater into the Curonian Lagoon, said the incident would have impact on the results of the whole group.


Grigeo is quoted on the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange's Main List and trading in its shares was suspended at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday after they lost 9.3% in value, dropping to 1.36 euros.
