Tallink allocates Finnish depository receipts to 271 Silja employees

Listed Estonian shipper Tallink has allocated Finnish depository receipts (FDRs) to altogether 271 employees of Tallink Silja Oy and Tallink Silja AB, which will soon be traded on the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange.

Tallink on Wednesday distributed its own shares converted to FDRs to the employees of Tallink Silja Oy and Tallink Silja AB, who participated in the FDR reward program for a selected group of employees of Tallink Silja Oy and Tallink Silja AB, the shipper told the stock exchange.


The company has allocated FDRs to 271 employees of Tallink Silja Oy and Tallink Silja AB. Each such employee received 750 FDRs. As a result, the company distributed in total 203,250 FDRs to these employees pursuant to the FDR reward program.


As of Wednesday, the company holds 269,613 own shares. Tallink does not hold any own FDRs.

Currently ongoing is a share buy-back program with a volume of 500,000 euros, which is connected with preparations for listing Tallink on the Helsinki stock exchange.
