Latvijas Pasta Banka's profit at EUR 5.749 mln in 9 months

Latvijas Pasta Banka posted EUR 5.749 million in audited profit in the first nine months of 2017, which is 40.6% less than in the first nine months of 2016, writes LETA, according to the bank's financial report.

The bank's assets as at September 30 amounted to EUR 223.737 million, an increase of 9.3% or EUR 18.993 million on end-2016.

 

Deposits at the bank stood at EUR 181.662 at the end of September, an increase of 7.9% from the end of 2016.

 

Latvijas Pasta Banka's capital adequacy level was 19.87% at the end of September, while the liquidity ratio was 97.73%.

 

In the first nine months of 2016, Latvijas Pasta Banka operated with a profit of EUR 9.68 million.

 

Latvijas Pasta Banka belongs to Mono, a company that is owned by Mihails Ulmans (49.43% of shares), Aleksandrs Plotkins (32.67%) and Kajems Biomins (17.9%), according to Firmas.lv data.

 

In terms of assets, Latvijas Pasta Banka was the 18th largest bank in Latvia as of June 2017.
