Latvijas Loto sells 180,000 Centenary Lottery tickets in a month

In a month since the Latvian Finance Ministry and Latvijas Loto nationwide lottery organizer have sold already 180,000 Centenary Lottery tickets, which is 18% of the total number to be sold, the ministry’s representatives said LETA.

This is the largest number of lottery tickets sold in a months in the history of Latvijas Loto moment lotteries.


The Centenary Lottery series has one million tickets.


As reported, the total prize fund of the Centenary Lottery will be EUR 3.25 mln, said Maija Kubli, the board chairwoman of Latvijas Loto nationwide lottery organizer. The turnover of the lottery will be EUR 5 mln, making the Centenary Lottery the largest national moment lottery project in the history of Latvijas Loto.


The price of one ticket is EUR 5, and four tickets will win the biggest prize or EUR 100,000. More than EUR 400,000 will be used to support the best-performing high school graduates.
