Bank of Latvia's net foreign reserves at EUR 5.92 bln

Print versionThe Bank of Latvia held EUR 5.92 bln in net foreign reserves at the end of June 2016, reports LETA.The Latvian central bank's net foreign reserves had grown 0.6 % from the end of May 2016 when its net foreign reserves were worth EUR 5.88 bln

At the end of June 2016, the Latvian central bank's claims in foreign convertible currencies and euro-denominated deposits amounted to EUR 5.66 bln, gold reserves were worth EUR 253.36 mln and the bank's reserve item with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was EUR 70,000.
At the end of 2015, the Bank of Latvia's net foreign reserves stood at EUR 5.13 bln.
