Estonian insurers collect EUR 22.6 mln in non-life premiums in November

Print versionNon-life insurance premiums collected by Estonian insurance companies in November 2015 totaled 22.6 million euros, 5.4% more than in the same month last year, figures available from Statistics Estonia show, cites LETA/BNS.

Insurance companies' payouts against non-life insurance policies amounted to 14.5 million euros, an increase of 8.8% over November 2014.
In the first 11 months of the year, non-life premiums totaled 255.3 million euros and payouts 145 million euros, marking year over year increases of respectively 6.2% and 7.7%.
Life insurance premiums totaled 6.8 million euros in November, 5.6% more than in November 2014. Payouts in life insurance amounted to 4.2 million euros, 4.1% more than the year before.
In the 11 months, life insurance premiums totaled nearly 74 million euros, 3.1% more than in January-November 2014. Payouts during the same period totaled 47.6 million euros, marking an increase of 29.7% year over year.
