BC, Vilnius, 21.12.2015.Print version
Lithuania recorded a current account deficit of 1.047 billion euros for the nine months through September 2015, which accounted for 3.8% of GDP for the period, data released by the central Bank of Lithuania showed on Monday, cites LETA/BNS.
In the third quarter alone, the current account deficit totaled 173.83 million euros, which accounted for 1.7% of the period’s GDP.
In July through September, growing surpluses in the services and secondary income balances were insufficient to offset deficits in the foreign trade and primary income balances, the central bank said.
