EUR 449.1 mln paid into Tallinn’s budget in 10 months

In the first 10 months of the year 2015, 449.1 million euros of revenue was paid into the treasury of the City of Tallinn, which makes up 87.9% of the full-year target without financing activities, cites LETA/BNS.

Tax receipts amounted to 300.2 million euros, 86.8% of the 12-month target. The sum includes 263.7 million euros in personal income tax (85.6% of the amount projected for the year), 27.8 million euros in land tax (99.9%) and 8.7 million euros in local taxes (88.3%), the municipal press service said.

 

Economic activity by institutions of the city generated 54.5 million euros, which equals 84.3% of the amount planned for 12 months.

 

Expenditures made by the city amounted to 459.9 million euros, 80.7% of the sum planned to be spent during the year. Investments totaled 33.8 million euros.

 

The city's treasury had free assets totaling 65.5 million euros at the end of September.
