EUR 54.84 mln "gap" in Latvian budget revenue after 9 months

In the first nine months of the year 2015, budget revenue administered by the State Revenue Service was implemented by 99%, with budget revenue deficit amounting to EUR 54.84 million, reports LETA, according to the State Revenue Service.

In the first nine months of this year, the State Revenue Service collected EUR 5.538 billion in budget revenue, while the projected sum was 5.593 billion.

 

The State Revenue Service plans to collect a total of EUR 7.464 billion this year.

 

The master budget revenue plan in the first nine months of this year was fulfilled by 97.5%, amounting to EUR 2.714 billion, while the planned figure was EUR 2.783 billion.

 

The largest contributions came from the value added tax revenue – EUR 1.405 billion, which though was only 95.9% of the projected amount, EUR 1.465 billion.

 

Excise tax revenue in the first nine months reached EUR 590.882 million, up from the planned 573.339 million.

 

Social insurance contributions, EUR 1.747 billion, amounted to 99.5% of the plan – EUR 1.745 billion.

 

Personal income tax revenue plan in the first nine months was fulfilled by 100.5% – EUR 1.055 billion, while the projected revenue amount was EUR 1.05 billion.
