Lithuania's central government deficit in July was EUR 8.9 mln
The central government revenue in the first seven months of 2015 was EUR 6.05 billion, while expenditure at EUR 5.94 billion. Transactions in non-financial assets totalled EUR 254.1 million in January-July 2015.
Within this period, 49.9% of the central government revenue originated from taxes, while 40.6% – from social contributions. Meanwhile, social contributions and subsidies accounted for the biggest part of expenditure – 53.1 and 14.9% respectively.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the central government deficit in July was EUR 8.9 million or 0.02% of the projected GDP in 2015. In July the central government revenue totalled EUR 901.5 million, expenditure – EUR 861.5 million, while transactions in non-financial assets – EUR 48.9 million.
In July, the biggest part of the central government revenue originated from taxes and social contributions – 49.2 and 40.6% respectively, whereas social payouts accounted for the biggest part of expenditure – 52.0%.
