Estonian Bondora loss almost as large as turnover in 2014

Estonian direct financing company Bondora (also known as isePankur) turnover was 1.45 million euros in 2014, and loss 1.2 million euros, Postimees Online cites the company's last year's annual economic report.

The loss was caused by a fast increase in labour costs and marketing costs, informs LETA.

 

The company's payroll cost grew by 6.2 times to 632,997 euros. The average number of employees increased to 32 last year, compared with 12 employees in 2013.

 

The average wages per employee increased by more than two times, to 1,648 euros a month, compared to 703 in 2013.

 

Last year, Bondora included 4.3 million euros of additional capital.
