According to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, the tax revenue collected by the state budget amounted to 514 million euros in June 2015, which is an increase of 7.9% as compared to the same time last year, LETA/Public Broadcasting reported.

In the first six months of the year, tax collection also grew and 48.6% of the state budget was fulfilled.

Social tax collection growth slowed to 7.1% in June, and corresponded to budget expectations.

Personal income tax receipts grew in June by 3.4% year-on-year, the cause for the modest growth was the income tax cut.

Corporate income tax receipts exceeded expectations in June and six months' collection growth is a strong 7.4% despite the cut in income tax rate. The growth was mainly caused by high dividend payments in the private sector.

VAT collection was in June 162.3 mln euros, by 11.6% more than a year ago.

Excise taxes collection fell by 0.4% in June.
