Compared with the beginning of the previous year, the amount of premiums written by Ergo in the Baltic States increased 14.5%, reaching EUR 44.9 million.

According to Ergo, in the first quarter this year, the company exceeded the average market indicators in all insurance segments in the Baltic States, as well as increased its market share on regional level to 13.4%. The Baltic insurance market grew 5.9%, but Ergo – 14.5%.

In the first quarter this year, indemnities paid by Ergo to clients in the Baltic States reached EUR 22.3 million, which is 17% more than in the respective period last year.

Indemnities issued in Latvia in the first quarter this year increased 35%, which equals EUR 6.59 million.

Ergo keeps focusing on its clients' needs, enforcing profitable and sustainable growth in underwriting, the company says.
