SEB Group in Latvia earns EUR 8.7 mln in Q1
In the first three months of this year, SEB banka registered 4,600 new clients – about 3,700 of whom were private persons, and 900 – enterprises. In the first quarter of 2015, SEB banka issued loans in the amount of EUR 87 million, EUR 79 million (91%) of which were issued to companies.
SEB Group's income in Latvia in the first quarter reached EUR 23.7 million, which is 3% less than in the first quarter of 2014.
Expenditure, as compared with the first three months of 2014, increased 1%, amounting to EUR 12.5 million.
Profit before provisions amounted to EUR 11.2 million, which is 7% less than in the respective period of 2014.
In a period from January to March, the bank made provisions in the amount of EUR 1.6 million – 70% less than in the respective period of the last year.
The total amount of deposits on March 31, 2015, reached EUR 2.1 million or 1% more than at the end of the first quarter in 2014.
