EUR 5.29 bln collected in taxes in Latvia in 2014

Print versionThe total state budget tax revenue in Latvia amounted to EUR 5.29 billion in 2014, as State Revenue Service Director Inara Petersone told media representatives today, cites LETA.

Salary tax revenue reached EUR 2.51 billion, other tax revenues – EUR 2.78 billion.
Mandatory state social insurance contributions amounted to EUR 1.58 billion, personal income tax – EUR 933.47 million.
Limited liability companies were the most active taxpayers in 2014, contributing EUR 4.26 billion to the state budget, followed by joint stock companies – EUR 1.03 billion, and individual merchants – EUR 8.99 million.
