If earns EUR 17 mln in Baltics in 2014

The Estonia-registered insurance company If P&C Insurance and its subsidiaries in Latvia and Lithuania earned EUR 17 million in 2014, which is 28.8% more than in 2013, when the company earned EUR 13.2 million, If Apdrosinasana spokeswoman Daiga Bluke informed LETA.

The amount of gross premiums written in 2014 amounted to EUR 122.6 million, (in 2013 – EUR 117 million).

 

The amount of gross premiums written by If P&C Insurance subsidiary in Latvia (If Apdrosinasana) amounted to EUR 28.1 million in 2014, (in 2013 – EUR 26.5 million).

 

The company's combined index in the Baltics was 87% (previously – 89%). The company's loss index was 56.5% (previously – 60%), cost index – 30.5% (previously – 28.5%).

 

If has more than 340,000 clients in the Baltic States. The company fully belongs to If P&C Insurance Holding Ltd, a subsidiary of Sampo Plc.
