Latvian Health Minister Belevics loaned money in amount of EUR 3.4 mln in 2014

Businessman turned health minister in Latvia, Guntis Belevics (Green Party), has loaned large sums of money in four cases in 2014, totaling EUR 3.44 million, reports LETA.

This according to his 2014 income declaration filed at the State Revenue Service.

 

The heftiest loan totals almost EUR 2.8 million; the other three: EUR 377,757, EUR 208,708 and EUR 60,000.

 

Belevics is a shareholder in six enterprises; the biggest chunk is in the company named Blankenfelde.

 

Land property owned by Belevics totals five; two of which have structures built on them.

 

The declaration states that the health minister has no debt arrears, has no savings of any kind, and he does not mention money earned last year. He apparently has no registered motor vehicle.
