Electricity prices for Latvian households to climb up to 30% in 2015

Electricity prices for households could grow up to 15-30% after January 1, 2015, Deputy State Secretary of the Economy Ministry Jurijs Spiridonovs said in a press conference today, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

Spiridonovs based these estimations on the currently available information about the public offers published by electricity retailers.

 

Seven companies have expressed their readiness to sell electricity to households when the 'power market is de-centralized come January 1, however, only three – Latvenergo, Baltcom and Win Baltic – presented specific offers.
