The company will be renamed AS Gaasienergia and it will continue in full volume performing all the existing functions of Gasum Eesti. For Alexela Energia this is a strategically important milestone as the company has been working to develop the choice of energy solutions. „Purchase of AS Gasum Eesti is for Alexela Energia the next step in expanding the energy portfolio offered to clients," said Alexela Energia Manager Marti Hääl.

Gasum Eesti AS was a subsidiary of the Finnish Gasum Energiapalvelut Oy. Gasum Eesti was engaged in natural gas distribution and sale to small and medium-sized enterprises and households in Northern Estonia.

Alexela Energia consolidated group companies turnover was over 214 million euros last year and it employs more than 1,000 people.
