Last LNG cargo arrives in Lithuania's Klaipeda

A new small cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's Novatek has arrived in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda on Monday. It's the last LNG delivery to the Lithuanian terminal this year, informed LETA/BNS.

The Coral Favia vessel bought 9,500 cubic meters of LNG from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk, where Novatek has a LNG facility, Klaipedos Nafta, the Klaipeda LNG terminal's operator, told LETA/BNS.


It’s the 13th cargo of LNG from Vysotsk this gas year that started in October. Bunker vessels bring LNG crgoes of 6,500-9,500 cubic meters from the Russian port.


Also, six large LNG cargoes of 138,000 cubic meters of LNG each have arrived in Klaipeda from the Norwegian port of Melkoya, where Equinor has a LNG production facility, since early October.
