A new small cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's Novatek arrived in the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda on Saturday, marking the 12th such delivery in the new gas year that started on October 1, informed LETA/BNS.

The Coral Favia came from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk, where Novatek has a LNG facility, according to the vessel tracking websites marinetraffic.com, myshiptracking.com and vesselfinder.com.

Klaipedos Nafta, the Klaipeda LNG terminal's operator, told BNS the tanker delivered 6,500 cubic meters of LNG.

Six large LNG cargoes of 138,000 cubic meters of LNG each have also arrived in Klaipeda from the Norwegian port of Melkoya, where Equinor has a LNG production facility, since early October.

The terminal's users have booked regasification capacity for over 19 TWh of gas, or roughly 20 large LNG carriers, for the current gas year ending in late September 2020.
