Latvian Economics Ministry to purchase electricity from Lithuanian company

Print versionGeton Energy, a company of Lithuania’s Lietuvos Energija group, will supply electricity to the Latvian Economics Ministry for EUR 80,000, according to the information on the ministry’s internet website noted LETA.

There were four bidders in the tender – Geton Energy, Latvenergo, JA Power and Imlitex Latvia.
Geton Energy was founded in 2013. It share capital is EUR 5.5 mln and it is solely owned by Energijos Tiekimas, a subsidiary of Lietuvos Energija.
Geton Energy closed 2017 with EUR 31.2 mln in sales and sustained EUR 255,894 in loss.
