The company's former Finance Director Aldis Akis left the office due to a change of the company's board.

The new VN director of finance is a graduate of Concordia International University in Tallinn, Estonia, with a Bachelor's degree in international business management.

Stanevics is also chairman at the publishing house Preses Nams. His professional experience includes work with enterprises, institutions and organizations in Latvia, Belarus and Russia in the sector of finance consultations.

VN is the central holding company of a multi-branch concern, the task of which is to manage investment funds in several subsidiary enterprises, promoting the growth of the total value of the concern, as well as of each branch of the enterprise.

The business activity of VN is geared towards several directions – handling of oil and oil products, shipping of oil and oil products via pipelines, management and maintenance of real estate property, printing/publishing and seafaring business.
