Minister recalls Vassiljev and Tali from Eesti Energia supervisory board

Finance Minister Sven Sester, acting in his capacity as extraordinary general meeting of Eesti Energia, on Thursday recalled Veiko Tali and Rannar Vassiljev from the supervisory board of Eesti Energia and endorsed the new lineup of the supervisory board effective from May 12, 2017, informed Eesti Energia.

The new lineup of the supervisory board is made up of the following mambers: Vaino Kaldoja, Kaie Karniol, Einari Kisel, Andres Liinat, Ivo Palu, Ants Pauls and Danel Tuusis. The new members of the supervisory board are Kisel, Liinat and Palu, Eesti Energia told the stock exchange.


All members were appointed for a period of three years.


Kisel is manager for Europe Region at the World Energy Council. He has previously worked as deputy secretary general responsible for energy at the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and as head of energy trading in Eesti Energia.


Liinat is the chief operating officer of Cleveron and member of the supervisory board of Tartu University Hospital. He has previously held board level positions in the administration of the University of Tartu, Bookinghouse.net, Swedbank, Tallinna Kaubamaja Group and Reval Hotels.


Palu is professor and director in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics, School of Engineering at the Tallinn University of Technology. He is a member of the board of the Estonian Society for Electrical Power Engineering.
