Neste to continue opening up two to three new fuel stations a year in Latvia

The Finnish fuel retailer Neste will continue to open up two to three new fuel station a year in Latvia in the coming years, Katri Taskinen, Vice President, Oil Retail Baltics at Neste, told LETA.

''We plan to continue expanding in Latvia as we have done so in previous years - by about two to three fuel stations a year,'' she said.


She said that the company recently opened up a new fuel stations at Berzkrogs, and just last week began construction of a new fuel station in Tinuzi, which will be opened in the spring. At the same time, Neste Latvija is working on several other projects which plan to be implemented in 2017.


Neste has 66 unmanned gas filling stations in Latvia. This year the company plans to open two new gas filling stations in Latvia.


Neste Latvija is a subsidiary of Finnish oil company Neste, the leading fuel company in Finland. In 2015 Neste's revenue reached EUR 11 bln.
