"I do not exclude the possibility that in the nearest future we will sign a memorandum of understanding or other document over cooperation in the area of energy. Some of our companies already have experience working (in Indonesia – ELTA) in the area of aircraft maintenance, production of solar batteries and other renewable energy resources," Linkevicius told news agency ELTA on the phone from Jakarta.

On Thursday the head of Lithuania's diplomacy signed three bilateral agreements. Linkevicius said that one of them, on economic and technical cooperation, would open opportunities for the two countries to establish regular bilateral ties.

The minister also informed news agency ELTA that Lithuania has asked for a visa-free regime for tourists.
