Estonia's largest seller of liquefied gas Reola Gaas increased its sales in the first half of the year 2015 by 67%, to 4.4 million euros, LETA/Delfi reports.

Reola Gaas is a part of the Alexela Group. Alexela Group Chairman of the Board Andreas Laane said that the growth came from fast seasonal increase in sales of bottled gas and Reola Gaas entering the pipe-gas free market.

At the liquefied gas market today, market prices have fallen by nearly two times compared to last year's price level. "Certainly, gas heating solutions have perspective – in addition to higher user comfort, the prices of gas can only fall in Estonia. This will increase the competitiveness of gas heating," explained Andreas Laane.

At the pipe gas market, Reola Gaas continues among the three largest gas importers. "Natural gas imported from Lithuania helped significantly reduce the price of pipeline gas in Estonia and has brought more favourable gas for everyone – from July, the private clients gas prices fell by 25%," said Andreas Laane.
