Latvijas Gaze to pay EUR 28.728 mln in dividends

During today's meeting of the joint-stock company Latvijas Gaze shareholders, it was decided to use the distributable share of the company's 2014 profit to pay EUR 28.728 million or EUR 0.72 per share to shareholders in dividends, according to Latvijas Gaze announcement submitted to the "Nasdaq" Riga Stock Exchange, cites LETA.

The shareholders approved last year's net profit in the amount of EUR 32.026 million.

 

They also decided that EUR 2,470,967 is the share of profit not available for distribution. Meanwhile, EUR 28.728 million of last year's profit will be paid in dividends, but EUR 827,880 will be included in Latvijas Gaze statutory funds (reserves).

 

The shareholders also elected the following council members today: Kirill Seleznev, Elena Karpel, Nikolay Dubik, Elena Mikhaylova, Juris Savickis, Vlada Rusakova, Uwe Fip, Joerg Tumat, Matthias Kohlenbach, Damian Bunyan, and Oliver Giese.

 

As reported, Latvijas Gaze posted EUR 32.026 million in profit last year, which is 1.9% more than in 2013, according to the company's unaudited financial report submitted to "Nasdaq Riga" stock exchange.

 

Last year, consumers were supplied with 1.29 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In comparison with 2013, natural gas sales fell by 10.9%.

 

Germany's E.ON Ruhrgas International GmbH owns 47.2% of Latvijas Gaze shares, Russia's Gazprom has 34%, and Itera Latvija 16%.
