In 2014, energy goods in Lithuania accounted to 26.5% of total industry
In 2014, the major part in the main commodity group was made up of intermediate goods - 32.1 % of the total industry; compared to 2013, this figure grew by 4.1 %. In the said group, a 3.2 % decrease was observed for the sales of chemical products, of which those of fertilisers - by 0.4, plastics in primary forms - by 6.1 %.
Meanwhile, an 8.4 % increase was observed for the sales of plastic products, of which those of plastic bags - by 16.3, plastic boxes - by 17.3 %. A 15.2 % increase was recorded for sawmilling and planning of wood, 10 % - manufacture of wooden building articles.
In 2014, energy goods accounted for 26.5 % of the total industry. Compared to 2013, the sales of such goods in value terms decreased by 24.3 %. In the said group, the sales of diesel fuel for cars decreased by 21.8, unleaded gasoline for cars - by 26.3, crude oil - by 12.4 %.
