Electricity price in Lithuania to decrease by EUR 0.83 in 2015

On 23 December, Lithuania's National Control Commission for Prices and Energy adopted a decision to publish adjusted AB LESTO prices for electricity transportation service and public electricity and their application procedures effective from 1 January 2015, reports LETA/ELTA.

It was announced that as of 1 January 2015, public electricity prices for household customers will decrease by an average of 0.83 EUR ct/kWh or 2.88 cents/kWh (including VAT) (6.3%).

 

Also, from 1 January 2015, electricity transportation service prices for business customers that receive electricity from medium-voltage electricity networks will decrease by an average 0.68 EUR ct/kWh or 2.36 cents/kWh (VAT not included) (16.9%), for those receiving from low-voltage electricity networks - 0.95 EUR ct/kWh or 3.28 cents/kWh (VAT not included) (16.5%).
