Klaipedos Nafta and AGA signed memorandum concerning LNG terminal

AB Klaipedos Nafta and UAB AGA signed a three year memorandum of understanding related to the development of the infrastructure of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Lithuania, reports BC LETA/ELTA, referring to Vakaru ekspresas.

Consequently, UAB AGA has committed to carry out an in depth market analysis on the use of the LNG terminal as an alternative source of energy for currently used fuels, including liquefied natural gas, heavy fuel oil, diesel fuel, solid fuel etc.

 

Moreover, UAB AGA intends to expand the network of LNG regasification stations and LNG transportation infrastructure in Lithuania and other Baltic countries. During the next three years Klaipedos Nafta will be implementing the LNG distribution station project and from 2016-2017 will provide services of loading LNG to gas carriers.
