According to the head of the Government, not only Vilnius and other cities but all Lithuanian regions have prepared the most capable school students. This year the ceremony was attended by youths from 16 of Lithuania's municipalities.

"You have completed the first serious examination proving that you have gained the right to choose your profession based on appeal and calling. Choose responsibly – listen both to your minds and to your hearts, because only the work you like brings satisfaction, good results and creates a positive atmosphere," Butkevicius said.

"You achieved excellent results by persistent work and know that success has to be earned – the luckiest are those who put in the greatest effort," said Pavalkis and noted that Lithuania's future belongs to strong minds.

This year, 55 school students and 8 vocational school students received the maximum possible (100) points in three or more exams. 48 school leavers received the maximum possible results in three exams.
