Grybauskaite: attitude to the state begins at school

Print versionOn the occasion of September 1st, 2010, President Dalia Grybauskaite took part in the opening of the New School Year Celebration in Siauliai.

"Science is the joy of discovery and a hard daily wok. But it is generously rewarded by wisdom – the biggest and inconsumable value," the head of the state said congratulating all residents and guests of the city of Siauliai on the occasion of September 1st.
The president stressed that a modern state is impossible without a modern school that is open to innovation and encourages creativity, writes LETA/ELTA.
According to President Grybauskaite, Lithuania has a lot of experienced, professional teachers, professors, scientists, talented and gifted youth, and they all are the foundation of the constantly improving school, therefore, it is necessary to support and encourage the development of creative thinking in the regions.
