Senior pupils will study remotely until November 13 in Latvia

The government in Latvia today decided to extend distance learning for senior pupil of grades 7-12 until November 13, reports LETA.

Also, the government decided that teachers and pupils from the age of 13 will have to wear masks outside classrooms.


The Cabinet of Ministers heard recommendations of specialists today and amended the regulations on epidemiological safety measures in order to curb the Covid-19 infection.


So far pupils did not have to wear face masks at school.
