RKAS signs EUR 5.3 mln contract on Tallinn European School construction

Print versionThe Estonian state real estate management company RKAS and construction company Ehitus5Eco signed at the end of March a 5.3 mln euro contract for the design and construction of Tallinn European School building, writes LETA/BNS.

"The work must be completed in the summer of 2018," chief of communications at RKAS Madis Idnurm told. It is planned to start construction this spring.
The public procurement tender announced by RKAS attracted three bids, including two joint offers.
The Ministry of Education and Research announced in April 2016 it had picked the former building of the Tallinn Transport School in Tehnika Street for Tallinn European School's new home. Head of the ministry's general education department Irene Kaosaar said the plan was to increase the number of student places from 200 to 600 and the school would start work on new premises in fall 2018.
